The next new year resolution is to get a new job. I have been thinking about what I should do next.. HEADACHE ARGH!
1. I MUST CHANGE JOB! But change job or switch field altogether? Engineering or others?
2. Actually I quite like to find out more on how to test a device, the scan, BIST, PLL, ADC, DAC... Seem quite interesting even though microelectronics was nv my forte or fav topic.
3. BUT then engineering pay is ...

NEW YEAR RESOLUTION! (1)
Read in the papers, most ppl are hoping to exercise more in the new year and balance their work and life. Well I think I must also set the enw year resolution of exercising more!! Ever since started working, I find myself exercise less and less.. Morning jog also last 3 weeks then intermittent state. Interrupted by illnness then tired + lazy.
OK here I shall set myself the target of running the chartered marathon next year!! And full marathon! So that means I must go for the army half marathon first! I must rem this!!!!

KIND PERSON
This is a late post...
On Sat, I went down to collect the free PC from Starhub with my dad at some ulu place ( not really ulu.. west coast there.. after RV). We managed to get there by bus. Then got 2 big boxes to carry!! Then it seemed we walking in wrong direction. My dad went to ask a young man which way to go out. (He also collecting PC.)
He asked where are we going and he volunteered to send us home if on the way!!
But too bad, out of the way since he going Redhill. Nevertheless, he ask for nearest MRT and decided to send us to JE MRT. But super paiseh lor, he made a wrong turn and had to make a huge detour to send us to JE.
Anyway, just to say, his actions really made my Sat morning!!
It really brightens up my day! THANKS!

WHAT THE HECK!!?!?!?

Hey man it is not I nv inform ok? What I keep ppl guessing?
AND YES I CANNOT estimate the time I need to complete the task.
How I know the 3rd rev of testprog still cannot pass??
If I one time test can pass then it will be chop chop lor..
The thing is it is not just failing.. BUT failing one specfic test at one of the test site!!!!!
So I must make sure it is not due to hardware problems mah..
AND YES I told him I very high chance cant make it lor.... at ONE HOUR in advance!!!

Leave ur problems behind...
WOW.. my last post was 26th oct, means abt 1mth time I nv post liao!
Actually there were many occasions I want to post and just vent all my frustrations and complains, but nv really get down to doing so. Maybe too lazy.. Maybe worried the more I think, the more frustrated I gets. So I just give up the idea to complain.
Anyway just read a passage that I should always remind myself. Sometimes I really think working has make me very short tempered even when I reached home. So I must learn from the carpenter!
I hired a carpenter to help me restore an old farmhouse. He had a rough first day on the job. A flat tire made him lose an hour of work, his electric saw quit, and now his ancient pickup truck refused to start. While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence.
On arriving, he invited me in to meet his family. As we walked toward the front door, he paused briefly at a small tree, touching the tips of some branches with both hands. As he opened the door, he underwent an amazing transformation. His tanned face was wreathed in smiles and he hugged his two small children and gave his wife a kiss.
Afterward he walked me to the car. We passed the tree and my curiosity got the better of me. I asked him about what I had seen him do earlier. "Oh, that's my trouble tree," he replied. "I know I can't help having troubles on the job, but one thing's for sure, troubles don't belong in the house with my wife and the children. So, I just hang them up on the tree every night when I come home. Then in the morning I pick them up again." Then he smiled and said, "Funny thing is, when I come out in the morning to pick 'em up, there aren't nearly as many as I remember hanging up the night before."

Complaints~
Sometimes really feel very tired. Maybe is the ppl I working with? Have to work with one prob kid.. with many many funny ideas. And he wants everything his way. Thursday was super pissed off! He said he going to modifiy some jumper wires then coming back to test again.
So i waited for him to come back.. 7-9pm still no sight of him! Call him but no one picks up...
Maybe I was affected by the news my friend quitted. Coupled with the bad mood, I was wondering what am I staying for?? Sense of lost...
Friday stayed till 9pm again! Although planned to go tennis with friends, I was not really pissed off. Cos I was doign my own work and at least I felt I accomplished something.
Today my superior say I was like quite losted last wk w/o my senior engineer ard. =X
There was this product to ship back for evaluation. Aiyah I asked the prob kid lor... He said he nv do b4.. How I know what to do? Super low morale... And I though I did quite OK and tried my best to get everything up and running. Maybe I am pissed that what I was trying to do was not appreciated.
Went lunch w a group including my superior. I was super sianz to talk much. Just kept mum during the lunch. I don't know. Maybe tired. Maybe the ppl I don't know them well. Maybe I ASAP. Maybe I pissed. I just don't like to make those small talks. Maybe there is a person I don't have a good impression there. Well.. maybe felt tired and fake.
Hey I was asked to go to a place that is renovating when I first went in. The conditions were bad. I trying hard to stay positive and to learn!! I not like the other new guys got office to put their things. Sometimes using computer also got chased away.
Haiz maybe not good mood. Really hate to think too much... What am I staying for? I think $ bah? After bonus, must really get my directions for my next destination!
So i waited for him to come back.. 7-9pm still no sight of him! Call him but no one picks up...
Maybe I was affected by the news my friend quitted. Coupled with the bad mood, I was wondering what am I staying for?? Sense of lost...
Friday stayed till 9pm again! Although planned to go tennis with friends, I was not really pissed off. Cos I was doign my own work and at least I felt I accomplished something.
Today my superior say I was like quite losted last wk w/o my senior engineer ard. =X

First wk at TPY over!
Long time nv post liao! Had been bz with work? Eh not really but just tired from work. Cos go co there walk ard c c look look! Waiting for time to pass.. Haiz. Hope next wk will be better! Must learn more stuff and hands on! This wk more like eye power only!
Anyway later today gg Marina South for a soccer match! HAha loookin forward to it.. though i think my stamina shd be :X Haiz so long nv go jogging!!! Must be more motivated to jog or else sure FAT! urrrrgrgrgggggghhhhh~!!!!! OK good luck to my game! hahaha..

HMMmmm.. quite some time from my last post. Well exams over. So moving to new phase of life - working life. Well like my fren said this is like a very different phase. Back then u just continue to study and then it is like sort of routine path: kindergarten-> primary sch -> sec sch ->jc-> uni

Read from joan blog... seems quite interesting. Haha shit seems like i always like to copy from others.. lol

what is 翘脚 in english?
Hmmm a week plus nv blogged. Sianz today waited 25minutes for the bus lor!!! Waited from 1040 to 1105 then got the bus home. ||| reached home aredi 1145. Get up the bus so many ppl, end up sitting beside an uncle who is 翘脚 (What's the word for it in english?). He took off his slippers some more! So i tried sitting a bit outside. then i look at my side... To my horror the uncle behind also 翘脚! I can see his feet just beside! ..........
Haiz the spread spectrum first part is really buang. The latest past year paper was dated year 2000. And the paper syllabus was like very different then. No samples and no idea what the lec teaching == buang! Like my friend says... must chong 2nd part liao lor! Should have posted negative feedback for the first lecturer!! Haiz and this module need write helpsheet some more... The first part notes are urghhhh..
OK look on bright side.. today 19th means 10 more days and I am done! =)
Oh yah ytd went watch a play - Fundoshi! First time! Haha...
Well the first story was nice! The 2 servants were funny lor! Like the way they talked and their inner thoughts. It is sort of like self fulfilling prophercy. They don't like each other so whatever one do, the other will find it irritating. Reminds me of a story I heard.

There was this guy who did not like his work. His friend advised," Since you don't like this job, why don't you just stay for like a year and learn all the stuff. Then with the skills, you can find a better job. Also, when you leave the company, they will regret not treating you better!" So this guy went on with his work. Remembering his friend advice, he began to take his work seriously and volunteered for tasks.
The manager and colleagues saw his willingness to learn and his positive attiude taught him the rope. He was well-liked by his boss and colleagues. Soon he got his promotion. Very soon a year passed. He met up with his friend again.
"So are you quiting soon?"
"No no no... my colleagues there are great and the boss appreciates my work!"
"Well I guessed as much when I gave you the advice. You see with the change in attitude, people will change theirs also."

FYP no more!
Yeah today done w presenting my fyp!!! Finally after looking at it for A YEAR! OKok slightly less than a yr. Was asked what grade should i get. Ha i replied a-.
"So u think u dun deserve to get a?"

I think A need to do much more stuff for the proj! a- is enough! lol. Feel quite relaxed after the fyp. Haha but still got exams coming.. This sem still haven reach the exam mood yet. Must be the fp and the uncompleted lab report still and LAST SEM MOOD! ha~

It follows the time on computer. For example, when i open the page, the clock will display the time of my comp. if u open the page, the time will be that of ur comp! Haha.. all thanx to lala! lol we learn something new everyday huh?

Siao on!
Hmmm actually nothing much to blog abt.. BUT decide to blog something MEANINGFUL MORE REGULARLY and not LIKE ONCE IN A MTH...
Today went BEDOK to play soccer! |||
Haha and my fren was sayin first time went so far to kick soccer so he gg to blog it.
Today was raining lor.. sianz. By 6 no more rain but oso no ppl. BUT they are determined to play soccer so decided to go src.
"WOW got ppl playing! Maybe we can join them!"
When we changed and reached there, the group of ppl has stopped and was taking off their shoes. =( BUT nv give up! zj say his rava4 club members are playin in bedok at 8pm. And off we went... travel from sky bright to sky dark... super far...
The uncles were not bad. But i think sw fm zj phang and of course me too strong combin! HAHA.. i think this will be our first and last time playing with them. =p

Updates!!!
Long time no post! Let me c wat I bz with....
Firstly was super bz with the fyp. Yah finally done and submitted last Thursday. BUT... still got the presentation to go.. hmmm next Monday! Wed gg to present to sup first but no slides done yet. Tmrw shall chopchop finish it.
Yah next went for 2nd rd psa interview on last Fri. Haha surprise surprise still got chance for 2nd round... lol. NO expectations. Haha. ;p
Today or rather ytd had listening compre and oral. Hmmm oral passed. Yeah super happy cos I think I have no flair for languages. Was mugging and talking to myself siapa.., keluarga saya ada bapa, ibu..., etc the whole Sunday and Monday morning. Super glad I passed but I think till the end std quite slack. So fortunate bah. Hmmm the first few persons who took the oral a bit suay lor.
Wat's next? Still have the design lab and the report. Also the matlab simulation and report... Hmmm seems like nv ending tasks ahead. Must finished by NEXT TUE. Then can prepare for exam. Remembered I posted somewhere 10 more wks to go... NOW IS FOUR more to go!!!! YEAH! HAHA... super long post by my std!!

Malay test i scored 30/50! I think it is one of the lowest in the class if not the lowest.... Haha. And the tutor kept saying he marked leniently so those borderline ppl must work harder...
And the fyp.. urrrrrggggghhhhhh how to come up w some relationships for the cell crossing and handovers? The more i see.. the more uncertain I am.... think must start to write down in words better than can read it and think thru.

Slack
Decide to give myself some rest today... went home at 2130. Maybe also dunno what is to be done... hmmm how to continue w the fyp? Hope that March can pass by as fast as possible! And April will be even faster! Haha...
Went career fair... seems like semicon in hot demand. Comms is tough. Actually control is not bad, but y didnt i pursue in control. Haha and power is totally forgotten by me! Maybe should look for non technical jobs. Chat w a fren for over an hr on her job in bank... Seems interesting w the currencies, bonds, trust and stuff... but to sell them is another matter.
Time to sleep! Tmrw shall be a fresh new day to continue my fyp!

Just remembered this movie... Personally i like it very much even though it is just a very simple story. (Maybe i am simple? haha...) i like the quote above very much also.. agreed with the first line. Life cant be repeated and tt's y we have fond memories... some of those sweet memories might not have seem sweet if you have not met with some other experiences.
Also, the story have many other interesting pts which can serve as reminders us.. for example things have many perspctives... what u see might not be the full picture! =) Strongly recommend this movie.. got Andy Lau some more! Hahaha.. he has been in the entertainment circle from my pri sch days till now lor... ^^

ME the copycat!

要喝减肥可乐吗？
刚读了张小娴《悬浮在空中的吻》里的一篇散文，觉得很适合周围的朋友。
女人常常问：“应该选一个他爱我多于我爱他的男人，还是选一个我爱他多于他爱我的男人？听说前者比较幸福。”
这种问题像不像是嗜喝可乐又怕胖的人，内心在挣扎，要不要喝一瓶减肥可乐来代替可乐。
减肥可乐难喝死了，根本就不能算是可乐。我从没听过有人说：“我很喜欢喝减肥可乐，他的味道真好。” 我只听过人说：“怕胖，只好喝这个。
这个代替品只是我们无可奈何而又受不住诱惑之下的选择。谁会觉得它好味道？
因为不能喝可乐，只能喝一口减肥可乐，回忆可乐的味道。喝不到的可乐，味道太棒了，益发使人讨厌手上的一瓶减肥可乐。
有些人宁愿喝白开水也不喝减肥可乐。
有些人不理那么多，坚持喝可乐。
有些人虽然不喜欢减肥可乐，仍然选择它，用来自己骗自己。
选择一个他爱你多于你爱他的男人，不过是要了瓶减肥可乐，有总比没有好。
选择一个你爱他多于他爱你的男人，何尝不是要一瓶减肥可乐，难喝死了，但谁叫你戒不了可乐？
你真的要喝减肥可乐吗？
可惜，现实生活中，并不是像喝减肥可乐那么简单。如何衡量双方的用心？如何理智的拒绝减肥可乐，坚持要真的可乐？如果不喝减肥可乐，会有真的可乐可以喝吗？但我想，我还是宁可喝白开水吧，也许会忘了可乐的味道，不再想念它。
