First a happy birthday to myself! SHUCKS.. getting nearer to 30 liao!
Just back from a morning run. Looking at the people dressed up nicely in shirts and pants, rushing off to work, made me felt out of place. They looked so mature while I think I am unsettled, playful and have no really heavy responsibilities. I just feel that I am not my age yet. But then my friends are getting married one by one, taking on the challenges of sharing their lives with another person, and the financial responsibilities of flat and living expenses! Really can't imagine myself doing that still... Ha I think I am still rather immature and a kid bah...
Finally back to sg! To be frank, quite a bit missing home.. maybe cos tired of London already. Been to most of the tourist attractions.. Maybe if extending the trip to france might be different. But then again, time and $ is always a constraint~
The one thing I like is the weather! Provided it doesnt rain~!! The weather is so cooling.. till it becomes cold when the wind blows. But then walking ard is literally NO SWEAT! This is quite a change for me as I perspire too much and too easily.
Looking forward to having a chance to backpack in europe! *dunno when that will be.. or ever will there be* o.0
One fine day, a bus driver went to the bus garage, started his bus, and drove off along the route.
No problems for the first few stops, a few people got on, a few got off, and things went generally well.
At the next stop, however, a big hulk of a guy got on. Six feet eight, built like a wrestler, arms hanging down to the ground.
He glared at the driver and said, "Big John doesn't pay!" and sat down at the back.
The driver was five feet three, thin, and basically meek... Naturally, he didn't argue with Big John, but he wasn't happy about it.
The next day the same thing happened -Big John got on again, said "Big John doesn't pay!" and sat down.
And the next day, and the one after that, and so forth.
This irritated the bus driver, who started losing sleep over the way Big John was taking advantage of his size.
Finally he could stand it no longer. He signed up for body building program, karate, judo and all that good stuff.
By the end of the summer, he had become quite strong; So on the next Monday, when Big John got on the bus and said, "Big John doesn't pay!" the driver stood up, glared back and screamed, "And why not?"
With a surprised look on his face, Big John replied, "Big John has a Bus pass." Moral of the story: First be sure is there a problem before working hard to solve one!
Haha though ERP doesnt really concerns me for now.. But I can feel for the part on MRT! It is total crap the best passenger experience award! WOW who enjoys the experience of being squeezed to the door? DO let me know the person! o.0

1/ Just back from SW wedding! Everytime after gg wedding dinner, makes me so envy! The couples looked so happy and blissful! WAH tots to when will it be my turn! haha.. Was speaking to my other colleague who is older than me.. I think I do feel a bit of stress now.. seeing so many of my close friends got married or going to get married this year or next year. His advice was not very encouraging.. " After this period of stress, then you wun feel it liao.. cos already gave up." |||
2/ I signed up for Salsa! In fact, I went for 2 lessons liao. But my hands-feet coordination got BIG problem. Rem hands movement, then will forget to move the legs. Plus I think my movements are too stiff! And the dance is supposed to be lead by the guy? omg... Just heck care and go have fun! As long dun step on the ladies feet.. lol
3/ Completed the 2nd marathon but didnt meet my target of under 5hrs. SIANZ. a small consolation.. timing improved by 5mins? lol... There is still one more chance at year end! So BUCK UP! Discipline! In fact, there is another 15km run which I also failed to meet my target of under 1.5hrs. Disappointed man..
4/ I am catching this show " 溏心风暴"! Those typical rich family internal feuds... But there is this character who I like very much - 常在心! (钟嘉欣: the one in centre!) She is those subborn girl or very direct and full of principle person! Saw her act in 皆大欢喜时装版, 人生马戏团,我外母唔系人 and 法政先锋Ⅱ. But nv really pay any attention to her .. But this show.. maybe more 各性 role so more outstanding! Plus she is pretty!!!!! ^^

The Japanese have always loved fresh fish. But the waters close to Japan have not held many fish for decades. So to feed the Japanese population, fishing boats got bigger and went farther than ever. The farther the fishermen went, the longer it took to bring in the fish. If the return trip took more than a few days, the fish were not fresh. The Japanese did not like the taste.
To solve this problem, fishing companies installed freezers on their boats. They would catch the fish and freeze them at sea. Freezers allowed the boats to go farther and stay longer. However, the Japanese could taste the difference between fresh and frozen and they did not like frozen fish.
The frozen fish brought a lower price. So fishing companies installed fish tanks. They would catch the fish and stuff them in the tanks, fin to fin. After a little thrashing around, the fish stopped moving. They were tired and dull, but alive. Unfortunately, the Japanese could still taste the difference. Because the fish did not move for days, they lost their fresh-fish taste. The Japanese preferred the lively taste of fresh fish, not sluggish fish.

I am totally for the proposition that everyone should knock off on time! There are 10 reasons why one should knock off on time. 1/ To make one more efficient. 2/ To educate one's boss that quality of work is no correlation to OT time. 3/ To be an example to one's subordinates. 4/ To know one's priority in life and change your old mindset. 5/ To be at the front of the society. Haiz.. just feel down. Mood swing. A bit disappointed and empty feeling. Maybe cos dunno what direction I am heading or even am I moving forward in the first place. Maybe I know the problem, the result but dunno what to do to change it.
