NEW YEAR RESOLUTION! (2)

The next new year resolution is to get a new job. I have been thinking about what I should do next.. HEADACHE ARGH!


1. I MUST CHANGE JOB! But change job or switch field altogether? Engineering or others?

2. Actually I quite like to find out more on how to test a device, the scan, BIST, PLL, ADC, DAC... Seem quite interesting even though microelectronics was nv my forte or fav topic.

3. BUT then engineering pay is ...

4. Should I try finance? But I just went to try apply. The "competency qn" section left me o.0

-Teamworking: Can you describe a time when you had to adapt your style to suit different members of a team. what was the situation, what did you do and what was the outcome ? (250 words max)
-Motivation and Drive: Can you describe an example of where you set a challenging goal and learnt something new. what prompted this, what was challenging about it and what was the result ? (250 words max)

You may wish to include evidence of leadership roles, positions of responsibility or any achievements you have not already had the chance to mention previously in this application form. (250 words max)

5. I really do not like and do not know how to answer such qns... the last time I answer such qn in a group interview, I totally flunk it.

6. Am I blindly following the finance craze?

Read in the papers, most ppl are hoping to exercise more in the new year and balance their work and life. Well I think I must also set the enw year resolution of exercising more!! Ever since started working, I find myself exercise less and less.. Morning jog also last 3 weeks then intermittent state. Interrupted by illnness then tired + lazy.

OK here I shall set myself the target of running the chartered marathon next year!! And full marathon! So that means I must go for the army half marathon first! I must rem this!!!!

This is a late post...

On Sat, I went down to collect the free PC from Starhub with my dad at some ulu place ( not really ulu.. west coast there.. after RV). We managed to get there by bus. Then got 2 big boxes to carry!! Then it seemed we walking in wrong direction. My dad went to ask a young man which way to go out. (He also collecting PC.)

He asked where are we going and he volunteered to send us home if on the way!!

But too bad, out of the way since he going Redhill. Nevertheless, he ask for nearest MRT and decided to send us to JE MRT. But super paiseh lor, he made a wrong turn and had to make a huge detour to send us to JE.

Anyway, just to say, his actions really made my Sat morning!!

It really brightens up my day! THANKS!
